“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson
I woke up at 11:11am this past Thursday for Thanksgiving. Which is significant to me since I’ve made it a habit in the past couple of years to say what I’m grateful for every time I notice 11:11 on the clock. Instead of a making a wish, I find it utterly important to make an effort to say what I’m grateful for instead – and then, I internally mention an ‘intent’ for myself. An intent acts a lot like a wish – but a wish has a more hopeful connotation, whereas an intent is a more direct way to manifest whatever it is you want. I encourage everyone that’s around me at 11:11, when we notice it, to do it as well – and to anyone that is reading this now, I would highly encourage you to too. It’s made a huge impact on my life and I can promise it will being to change yours as well.
*For the nerds out there, there is a statistically significant importance to 11:11 so I like to match that with the concept of the ‘Law of Attraction‘ (which encourages you to be grateful and set intentions into the universe) and see what happens…so far, it’s all gravy.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. Keep saying what you’re grateful for everyday, it’s not just a yearly social media post ya’ know.
