Throwback Thursday to almost 2 years ago this coming weekend when Molly & Patrick were married at ARIA. The amazing event included 11 vintage chandeliers in ARIA’s spectacular warehouse space – for a grand total of 13 chandeliers in this image (2 of them in the upper windows are ARIA’s own). Below our my own images from the big day and some pro shots Photogen Inc’s!
What they did right: Other than hiring all the perfect vendor folks – they kept it about family. Molly’s sister put together a great surprise for them near the end of the night – the crowd all sang for them –The Lumineer’s Ho Hey song (see video at the bottom)! It made the night even more unforgettable and special for their family. Way to go Terp Sisters!
Throw Back Thursday (& Happy Anniversary!) to Mary & Kyle’s big day at ARIA! Working along side Krista with Park Place Planning was a blast as we pulled this perfect day together. The perfectly blush flowers were arranged by A Day in Provence. The linens were put in place by Linen Effects. Of course the beautiful vintage chandelier that was over the head table was provided by PHOS Events (close up at the end).
You’ll want to note that this bride made all the chalkboard signs, and she nailed it. Everything from the table numbers, to the welcome board (my absolute favorite), and her instagram sign! This is also the first time I’ve seen placemats used, and again, she nailed it. I’m not going to lie I was sceptical until the first table was fully finished with decor, but they turned out fantastic! I also really enjoyed how we hung the chandeliers in a pyramid shape, it really created a grand folk point in the room. June 13th, 2014 came together perfectly with the help of:
Rachel + Jonathan’s day at ARIA was one to remember. With well over 300 people in the space, a room flip, several food stations AND a full band with dance floor – the functionality of the room layouts were critical. The bride, Rachel and I worked on multiple versions late at night while she was in New York and I was back home in Minneapolis, MN. Luckily we are both very visual people and communicated a lot through doodles of the layouts back and forth until we had every detail just right. It was all well, well worth it…because it really was, perfect in the end.
These images are my own snapshots as I tried to capture just parts of the amazing event… I don’t even know if Rachel knows I have these extra pictures yet…Happy 1 Year Anniversary Rachel if you’re reading this!
